I have just become familiar with this new search engine called
Mahalo. Advertised as the first human powered search engine, Mahalo "creates organized, comprehensive, and spam free search results for the most popular search terms. Our search results only include great links." It's only been around for a year or so but there's some pretty great stuff on it if you start poking around. The layout is great and there's tonnes of media on it. Checkout Mahalo's entries for:
